Research collaboration
She welcomes collaboration on paediatric infectious diseases, prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, adolescent HIV care, neonatal survival, paediatric nephrology and sickle cell disease in children, particularly multi-centre studies with sites in Nigeria and elsewhere in West Africa. She has served as site investigator on iCARE Nigeria, an NIH-funded adolescent HIV trial conducted with Northwestern University and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, and contributes to the Global Health Research Group on Children's Non-Communicable Diseases.
Supervision and mentorship
She supervises resident doctors and postgraduate trainees in paediatrics at Olabisi Onabanjo University, has examined for the West African College of Physicians, and has served as external examiner to other Nigerian medical schools.
